Comprehensive ADHD Treatment
We combine robust diagnostic data, targeted medication management, and evidence-based psychotherapy into a unified ADHD treatment plan built around how your brain actually works. Available to patients ages 15 and older across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Objective Cognitive Monitoring
CBT, DBT & Trauma-Informed Therapy
Three Pillars of Effective ADHD Treatment
Most practices prescribe medication and send you on your way. We integrate diagnostics, medication management, and psychotherapy so every decision is guided by data and every intervention reinforces the others.
Medication Management
Expert psychiatric prescribing by board-certified PMHNPs, guided by GeneSight pharmacogenomic data and your cognitive profile. Our prescribers collaborate closely to develop tailored treatment plans addressing both biological and psychosocial aspects of your mental health.
- GeneSight-informed medication selection
- Stimulant and non-stimulant options
- Dosing optimized to cognitive data
- Side effect monitoring and adjustment
- Co-occurring condition management
Cognitive Monitoring
Creyos neurocognitive reassessments at key intervals let us objectively measure whether treatment is working. These scientifically validated digital assessments can be completed in-office or remotely, tracking real cognitive change across 15+ domains.
- Baseline vs. follow-up comparison
- 15+ cognitive domains tracked
- Attention, memory, and processing speed
- Percentile-ranked progress reports
- In-office or remote reassessment
Psychotherapy
Evidence-based therapy delivered by licensed clinical social workers (LICSWs) and licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs) who specialize in ADHD. We use CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches adapted to how your brain works.
- CBT for ADHD-specific patterns
- DBT skills and emotional regulation
- Trauma-informed care
- Executive function skill building
- Relationship and workplace support
Precision Prescribing, Not Trial and Error
Your genetics, cognitive profile, and treatment history all inform how we select and optimize your medication. Every adjustment is backed by objective data.
How We’re Different
Most providers pick a medication, start a dose, and adjust based on how you say you feel. That’s subjective and slow. We use your GeneSight results to identify which medications your body metabolizes best, then track cognitive changes with Creyos to confirm the medication is actually improving the brain functions that matter.
This means faster optimization, fewer side effects, and measurable proof that your treatment is working. Our team of board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners provides outpatient medication management focused on personalized, data-driven care.
- Stimulant medications (methylphenidate, amphetamine-based)
- Non-stimulant alternatives (atomoxetine, guanfacine, viloxazine)
- Combination approaches when clinically indicated
- Adjunct medications for co-occurring anxiety or depression
- Ongoing monitoring with validated scales (ASRS, PHQ-9, GAD-7)
Measure What Matters. Track Real Progress.
Creyos neurocognitive reassessments give you and your provider an objective, percentile-ranked view of how treatment is improving cognitive performance over time.
Domains We Track
Processing Speed
How quickly you take in and respond to information
Attention
Sustained and selective focus over time
Working Memory
Holding and manipulating information in real time
Executive Function
Planning, decision-making, and impulse control
Why Follow-Up Testing Changes Everything
Without objective reassessment, treatment decisions are based entirely on self-report. Patients often can’t tell whether their attention has improved 10% or 40%. Creyos gives us the numbers.
We reassess at key intervals – typically 3 and 6 months after treatment begins – comparing your follow-up scores against your own baseline. These repeatable cognitive assessments reveal exactly which domains are improving, which need more work, and whether medication adjustments are having the intended effect.
The result: a treatment plan that continuously adapts based on real data, reducing the biases inherent in self-report alone.

Diagnostic Testing
Creyos, TOVA, and GeneSight testing for patients ages 15+ to establish your cognitive baseline and genetic profile. ~90 minutes plus interpretation.
Personalized Plan
Medication selection guided by genetic data. Therapy approach matched to your cognitive profile and specific challenges.
Ongoing Care
Regular follow-ups, Creyos reassessment at 3-6 months, and continuous optimization to keep you progressing.
When Medication Isn’t Enough
For patients with treatment-resistant depression – which frequently co-occurs with ADHD – we offer NeuroStar TMS therapy as part of our comprehensive care approach.
NeuroStar TMS Therapy
FDA-cleared, non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation for depression that hasn’t responded to medication. No sedation required. TMS uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate underactive areas of the brain associated with mood regulation – offering a new path forward for patients who’ve struggled with traditional antidepressants.

Treatment FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most from patients considering ADHD treatment.
We strongly recommend completing our full diagnostic assessment before beginning treatment. The data from Creyos, TOVA, and GeneSight directly informs your medication selection and therapy approach, leading to faster and more effective results. In some cases, we can begin treatment while assessments are being completed.
Initial intake appointments typically run 50-70 minutes. During the optimization phase, medication management follow-ups are every 2-4 weeks and run 30 or 45 minutes depending on your needs. Once stable, visits move to every 1-3 months. Psychotherapy sessions are 30 or 45 minutes, weekly or biweekly depending on your goals.
We accept the majority of private insurance plans in Massachusetts. Our founder, James Kennedy, is dual-licensed in MA and NH, allowing him to accept several insurance plans in New Hampshire as well. We also accept HSA and FSA payments. Contact our office for specifics about your plan.
Yes. While we believe the combination of medication and therapy produces the best outcomes, many patients choose medication management alone. We’ll recommend the approach we think will be most effective for your situation, but the decision is always yours.
This is exactly where our approach shines. GeneSight testing can reveal why certain medications didn’t work for you – you may be a rapid or poor metabolizer of specific drug classes. Creyos data can show which cognitive domains need the most support. Together, this data often identifies options that previous providers missed.
Yes. Medication management and therapy sessions are available via telehealth for patients throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Some initial testing components are best done in-person, but ongoing treatment can be managed remotely. We also see patients in-person at our Duxbury location, with our Boston Back Bay office opening soon.
At predetermined intervals (typically 3 and 6 months), you’ll retake a subset of the Creyos neurocognitive battery. These assessments can be completed in-office or remotely. Your results are compared directly against your own baseline, showing exactly how each cognitive domain has changed since treatment began. This objective data guides any adjustments to medication or therapy.
We use Spruce, a HIPAA-compliant secure messaging platform, for all day-to-day communication including medication refill requests, appointment questions, and clinical messages. You’ll also have access to our MYIO patient portal for completing questionnaires, reviewing records, and managing billing. Both platforms are encrypted and designed for responsive, real-time clinical communication.
